Old news it seems but I only just read about it today. The number stations on VOIP mystery which really got me going back May has been revealed to be a trick made by hackers to promote some hacker conference somewhere. Regardless of why they did it or what the meaning of the messages were the fact remains that those pieces of media affected me a lot in terms of their (accidental?) artistic merit. In short they terrified and intrigued me.
