pictures of me
I’m planning to overhaul this little site a bit over the next month and to section things off into various media. Some people know me from Spainful, other from Youtube Poop and then there are those I know in real life. I suppose it’s these later people that I’m readjusting for. It’s a bit like making a CV in a way, you adjust things based who you are aiming for. The site as it is now was arranged to make it employer friendly but now I’m reasonably settled in I can start taking stock of the media I’ve created over the last ten years and spend a bit of time archiving it. This next image is should set the scene for what I intend. Oh and please do not print this out and photograph your self urinating on it or worse….

Stop Looking At Me; Paul Nightingale

I came across this little fella somewhere a few days ago (no idea where) and set it as my desktop wall paper.
Now it seems to just be staring at me but I don’t know what it’s trying to tell me. Maybe I should start running a caption competition to deal with situations like these.
Also, and to fill up the white space on here, I thought I’d mention the now very old website of a friend of mine (freind of freind really) called Paul Nightingale.
Paul is highly respected in some circles as a genuiely brillant humourist and he recently popped up in conversation. Apart from influencing my work and the work of many of my friends he causes bewiderment to all for being very lazy.
I’m grateful to yahoo Geocities for still hosting his old Football Serious News , a mini-site that has been live for several years now and never changed. (The increible thing also that yahoo haven’t even contaminated it with banners etc. - surely that’s what they do with every geocities site) But to my knowledge it’s the only online example of his work. Look carefully and you’ll see thinly disguised craft of great word smith.
I would write more but there is nothing to say apart from the fact that beyond being intimidated by his talent I am also very much in awe.

I often post nonsense like this on people’s myspace profiles or just email them but rarely do i actually both to keep them or blog them here. But this one struck me as worth posting here, if for no other reason than it amuses me.
I’ve been listening to old Vox Monitor episodes so I expect that has informed my output.
