I’ve added a link to my friends list (right column) for a really wonderful site I’ve found called Music From Outer Space. This site offers kits, circuit diagrams and tons of photos of home made synthesisers. One of which (the Weird Sound Generator) I intend to build myself.

I’ve some of the parts already but I’ll being stocking up from Maplin for the rest of them. At the moment RS in Jersey currently doesn’t stock electrical components which is a shame, especially given that many companies seem unhappy to send good to Jersey now that they have to calculate and charge GST (3% goods and services tax).

So take a look at the site. Regardless of it’s actual content it’s a really fun little site with tons of cheerful images and plenty to see and hear. I’ll let you know how I get on with my synth building too.
